Le Prince Harry
Coldwave postpunk // Luik (BE)
Le Prince Harry isn’t the redhaired Brit you might know... This one is a bit more rough, a bit more punk, a bit more ADrenalineHD... and oh yeah... there’s three of them! Our friends from Liège penetrate your eardrums looking for those epileptic dancemoves you’ll most certainly will perform once hearing their completely personal mix of postpunk, coldwave, electro, etc. Le Prince Harry will be closing TEXtival 0.6 with a crazy dance party and you can bet on it: they’ll be “Goin’ out with a bang”! |

Iguana Death Cult
Garage rock // NL
The gentlemen of Iguana Death Cult do everything they love so much. Their no-nonsense garage rock with loads of fuzz and reverb, an almost superhuman energy and all of this melted into catchy songs. Their passage at Best Kept Secret and Lowlands were the talk of the town in the professional music presse. Still relatively unknown in Belgium, but not for long. And uhm, apparently they cannot perform without a good moshpit... Be warned, get ready to rumble!!! |

Mr Marcaille
Heavy freak cello // FR
Monsieur Marcaille is a special gentleman, to say the least. This seemingly friendly uncle is an amazing one man band. People who had the pleasure to see him perform at The Pit’s know this lordship can only play full force. With a cello, dubble bassdrum and a husky voice this man only wants one thing: to burn the house down. Be warned! Oh yes, ... you might see some breasthair too! |

Definitivos
Punk // Kortrijk (BE)
Defenitivos are without a doubt local cultural heritage. These punklegends from Kortrijk bring us raw punk since the end of the 70´s. Throughout the decades they followed a nice musical path, albeit with a sex-drugs-rock ‘n roll sidetrack, but always going straightforward. Last year they made a protest single: ‘2017’ out of horror with the communal passivity. The day before TEXtival (Record Store Day) they launch their new full album. Wait and see what these old youths come up with in 2018... |

The Kilaueas
Surf rock // D
Since 1998 the magmaphonic sound of these gentlemen has found its way into the hot Berlin underground. In clubs all over the world their piping hot lava tunes heat up the dancefloor. Pure explosive 60’s instrumental surf: cool, hot, loud, wild, sexy and danceable! |

Samoerai
Hiphop // Diksmuide (BE)
Samoerai has probably been put through a turntable as a baby, since everything he does breathes hiphop. As a bandmember of Grafgravers and Jayeness he delivered already some dope records to the hiphopscene, but what he does as a solo-artist is even bigger! 2 albums ànd an EP in 2 years time. Is it an understatement when we say he’s THE West-Flemish underground hiphopartist of the moment? Be ready for some heavy hiphop with depth, acrobatically flowed on top of neckbreaking boombap! |

Phoenix Rebellion
Metal // Kortrijk (BE)
Phoenix Rebellion was formed out of the late Mötorhead coverband: Göödhead. Still, the spirit of Lemmy Kilminster is present. Mix this with a bit of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Manowar and you know what to expect: Wild heavy metal with hardrock influences, but above all: Phoenix Rebellion! Their demo “Pirates of Ibiza” was in 2016 the start of a nice track with amongst other things a second place at the Wacken Metal Battle Belgium and their own beer.... Start training those neckmusscles! |

Boom'n van de Weireld
Worldmusic // Westhoek (BE)
De Boom’n van de Weireld get their inspiration from all aspects of life. Women and men, sun and rain, black and white, food and drink, now or never, .... in short: everything what’s life about. They sing about it with their own music and lyrics in Dutch, West-flemish and French. Vocals, accordion, drums and guitars wrestle with 4 copperblowers. Out of this fight comes chanson with a whiff of French pornpop fused with a hint of jazz and sometimes even the sound of the Balcan. Or, as Radio 1 called them: worldmusic from the Westhoek! |

Divided
Postmetal // Kortrijk
The local young guns of Divided started their band at thirteen! The three of them will blow your mind with their sludge/postmetal music. After a series of live shows and a third place at the Kunstbende finals they’re more hungry then ever before. Eager energy at its best! |
